What's a Spiritual Bouquet?
It's a "bouquet" of prayers that one gathers to give to someone else. So instead of a bouquet of flowers, each one beautiful in its own way, the spiritual bouquet has prayers that people have promised to pray for the receiver: a rosary or just a decade, a chaplet, a novena, a Mass, or a Holy Hour, etc.
Who typical receives one?
Anyone can receive one for any occasion--just like a flower bouquet, but typically they are given to someone who is suffering or experienced a loss. They are for the times when there is "nothing else to do but pray." And really, what's a better gift to give to someone? They can also be given in joyous times--like someone celebrating a birthday, anniversary, welcome, or birth. And they can also be given to aid in discernment--like a new job, new move, vocation, etc.
How do I make one?
The "old fashion way" would be to collect peoples signatures and promised prayers and arrange them in a paper flower bouquet or simple fill them out on a card. This is a wonderful gift for people to receive. However, to ease the collection of the promises and to include people that may be remote, this webpage has a simple way to collect the prayer "flowers." You simply click on the link below and follow the directions to make your own Spiritual Bouquet. You will be given a link that you can share to your family and friends who you would like to participate in this Spiritual Bouquet. The link is to a form where they just fill out their name and prayer offering. When they submit it, these will be collected, put into a "bouquet" and emailed back to you. There is nothing to join or email that has to be given, except the person organizing it so we can email the finished bouquet. When you receive the "bouquet" it will be a .pdf which can be printed out and handed to the receiver or simply emailed to them.
