August 6  Transfiguration

I am not sure about the history or traditions surrounding this feast day.  I guess I need some more research.  If you find a good post somewhere, let me know.
Anyway, I think its a great opportunity to remember and discuss an event from Jesus' life.    Can you imagine what those disciples thought?  I wonder what it really looked like.  There are lots of famous artists' versions of this event.  Google a few.
