Do you have a back to school tradition?
Pintrest is full of them. One thing many parents do is take a picture on the first day of school. This is an excellent way to have a record of your kids as they change from year to year. It also ensures that you have a recent picture of your kids--especially as they get older and tend to avoid the camera. As usual, I like to celebrate with a cake. (A pencil cake is as easy as it looks.
I also make a special breakfast for the kids in the morning. I don't have a traditional "back to school" breakfast, but something hot and delicious. (I think I'll do pancakes with bananas and Nutella.)
